# School and campus movers

Schools move in tight windows: summer, winter break or a long weekend. We plan around the calendar so classrooms are ready on the first day back.

## What we move for schools

- **Classrooms**: Desks, chairs, whiteboards and storage, room by room.
- **Libraries**: Books packed in shelf order so they go back the same way.
- **Labs and workshops**: Benches and equipment. Chemicals and hazardous items are handled by the school or a specialised carrier.
- **Offices and IT**: Admin offices, computer labs and AV equipment.

## Moves during renovations

When a wing is renovated, furniture often has to move out, wait, and move back. We can move it to another part of the building or to [storage](https://commercial-movers.ca/services/storage/), then return it on a set date.

## Starting prices

| Item | Starting price |
|---|---|
| 3 movers with a 26 ft truck | from $150 per hour |
| 4 movers with a 26 ft truck | from $195 per hour |
| [Storage vault](https://commercial-movers.ca/services/storage/) | from $75 per vault per month |

Starting prices in CAD before tax, based on typical Toronto and GTA market rates. The final price depends on volume, floors and elevators, distance, timing and building rules, and is confirmed in your written quote.

## School move questions

**When should we book a summer move?**

Early in the spring. Summer weeks fill up with school and office moves.

**Do you work with school boards?**

Send your purchasing requirements with the quote request and we will answer them in the quote.
